CONTACT CEMENT 9000 FLATWORK is suitable for bonding a wide range of mate- rials. Specially formulated for flatworks in the wood industry, in decorative lamina- tes, HPL (Formica ®), koralites, melamine, ABS, PVC and metal.
It is used for bonding foam to PVC synthetic fabrics in upholstery. It is recommended for bonding foam to foam in the mattress manufacturing and in footwear and leather industry.

For flat laminates or wood veneers, for bonding, with high pressure decorative laminates, melamine sheets, sheets of ABS, PVC and metal.

1. Stir thoroughly before using.
2. Ensure the materials to joint are clean, free from dust or grease.
3. Verify the suitability of this product on a test substrate.
4. Check the pressure regulator on the spray gun (atomizing pressure must be between 40 and 80 lbf/in2).
5. Purge water or oil trapped in the compressor line to avoid it blends with the adhesive.
6. Verify that the application nozzle is completely clean.
7. Test on cardboard or a piece of material to determine the amount of adhesive and let it dry.
8. Apply the product on both substrates. If the substrate is porous apply two coats.
9. Let the adhesive dry for 5 minutes or until it appears to be dry (make sure there is not adhesve transfer to fingers).
10.Put the pieces together and make steady pressure on them mechanically or by hand.
11.Environmental conditions, substrates and process conditions can significantly influence the results.
